Crit Collective connects architecture schools with diverse design professionals to strengthen academic juries and broaden participation in architectural discourse. By opening up critique spaces, we create leadership opportunities that are more inclusive, accessible, and impactful.

Crit Collective is co-led by Andrea Lamberti, FAIA, and Sonya Falkovskaia.
Andrea brings decades of experience managing complex institutional projects at Rafael Viñoly Architects, where she worked with diverse stakeholders to achieve consensus, deliver on budgets, and shape cultural spaces. Passionate about building community, she draws on international and U.S. experience to create collaborative, inclusive environments.

Sonya is a designer and researcher based in New York whose work centers on equity and access in architectural pedagogy. She has taught at Harvard GSD and Parsons, where she developed collective and interdisciplinary approaches to design education.

Together, Andrea and Sonya combine expertise in professional practice, teaching, and research to reimagine how critique can connect communities, strengthen leadership, and support future generations of architects.
